Good citizenship: EFI International’s business principles
EFI International takes pride in its catchphrase ‘Australia to the world’. In its standing as an international company, it looks to ‘good citizenship’ principles in conducting business in a responsible and sustainable manner.
As a company operating in a number of industry sectors, these principles are at the heart of how it does business. They are in place to guide employees and as ideals by which the company can be measured, including by governments and the communities associated with its operations.
The company recognises the sensitivities involved in working in different cultures and maintains in this regard a spirit of respect, trust and open communication. (See Code of Conduct.)
The company supports the principles set out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
The principles apply to all locations and projects and the company looks to extend them to business partners, contractors and suppliers.
